Nurzhan Nurlanov, son of former Majilis Speaker Nurlan Nigmatullin, is not a suspect in a criminal case related to corporate raiding, Orda.kz reports.
While his name appears in the case, he has not been formally accused.
This clarification was provided by Deputy Chair of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhenis Yelesemov, during a briefing on the sidelines of the Majilis.

According to him, the statement was initially filed with a police department and later transferred to the Financial Monitoring Agency.
