Nuclear Power Plant: Kazakhstan to Make Choice by Mid-2025

Kazakhstan's potential nuclear power plant contractor will be determined by the end of the first half of 2025, Vice Minister of Energy Sungat Yessimkhanov announced at a government press conference, reports Orda.kz.
According to Yessimkhanov, the Energy Minister has already visited all countries offering their technologies for the NPP construction.
We've prepared a list of questions for potential companies, and they're now providing their responses. We'll summarize results by the end of the first half and announce preliminary findings. The potential contractor will be determined at the same time, said Sungat Yessimkhanov.
Earlier, the Ministry of Energy published a shortlist of companies for Kazakhstan's NPP construction.
