Energy Minister Satkaliyev reported to the government about the beginning of Kazakhstan's heating season. According to him, 5.2 million tons of coal and 88 thousand tons of fuel oil have been accumulated in the fuel depots. These figures correspond to the standard.
With the exception of the Ridder thermal power plant, where the coal reserve is 14 days at a rate of 20 days. The accumulation work continues. There are two boilers in operation at the CHPP (No. 3 and No. 6). The repair of two boilers (No. 1 and No. 2) has been completed, start-up operations are underway. The repair of two more boilers (No. 4 and No. 5) will be completed by November 10. Three boilers should work during the heating period, Almasadam Satkaliyev said.
In the Turkestan region, boilers No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11 were brought online at the Kentau thermal power plant. The Minister has vowed that boilers No. 5, No. 6, No. 9, and No. 10 would be ready by mid-October.
According to him, four working boilers are sufficient for the winter.
In the Mangystau region, for the stable operation of the energy system, it is necessary to complete the repair of power unit No. 3 of the TPP of MAEK LLP by the end of the year, Minister Satkaliyev summed up.
