The North Kazakhstan Region Prosecutor's Office reported on the prevention of two teenage suicides. The department stated that the schoolchildren's suicide attempts were related to anime, Orda.kz reports.
The Prosecutor's Office has reported that two teenagers were found participating in a game on Telegram. The department says that the children "carried out suicide tasks." The game was anime-themed.
The teenagers were stopped in time; they were given psychological help and placed under observation. But there may be more such cases, the prosecutor's office says. The department's employees found eight more similar groups with suicidal content. Access to them has already been blocked.
This is not the first time that a prosecutor's office has drawn such a connection between teenage suicides. Last time, it was Manhwa, a popular South Korean comic.
