Euronews reports that the Bundestag has outed Olaf Scholz through a no-confidence vote. Scholz received 207 votes in the 733-seat parliament; he needed 367 majority to hold onto power.

Now, Olaf Scholz must propose to German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier to dissolve parliament.

The President will have 21 days to make the decision.

At the same time, the current government will continue its work until the early elections, which are expected to be held on February 23, 2025.
