New Direct Flight from Atyrau to Baku Launches This Spring

Kazakhstan’s airline Air Astana is set to launch a new direct route from Atyrau to Baku, Orda.kz reports, citing the carrier’s announcement.
The new flight will begin operating on May 31, with service scheduled three times a week — on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Flights on Mondays and Saturdays will depart at 18:30 with arrival in Baku at 18:55. On Wednesdays, departure is at 21:35, arriving in Baku at 22:00. Return flights from Baku will depart at 19:55 on Mondays and Saturdays arriving at 22:30, and at 23:00 on Wednesdays arriving at 01:35 the next day. All times are local,the airline stated.
Air Astana also reminded travelers that Kazakh citizens can enter Azerbaijan without a visa and stay for up to 30 days.
This announcement follows recent news that direct flights from Atyrau to Tbilisi will begin on May 27.
