A Petropavlovsk resident endured domestic violence for years. Police only intervened when the situation became critical, Orda.kz reports.
On November 11, the NeMolchiKZ foundation shared the story of a woman from Petropavlovsk who suffered years of her husband's abuse. She underwent multiple major surgeries, including a craniotomy.
She is now unable to walk and is being cared for by her mother.
The family is worried because nothing is known about their youngest child. He won't show them the baby or tell them where he is. There are tons of troubling videos on TikTok of him with his daughters. He clearly looks unwell!
NeMolchiKZ reports.
The organization stated that police failed to take action despite repeated signs of abuse.
In response, the police explained that the victim had not contacted them directly. They said that, along with child protection authorities, they had already investigated the family.
We checked the children's living conditions and interviewed neighbors. The mother filed a complaint concerning violence. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the man. All the children are currently with their mother,
the North Kazakhstan region police department reported.
The couple has five children. The man is unemployed, and the family is officially recognized as socially vulnerable. Both spouses have disabilities.
Psychologists are currently providing support to the woman and her children.
