Necessary to Control Unjustified Utility Price Rise - Prime Minister

Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has instructed to ensure a balanced tariff policy in the public utilities sector, Orda.kz reports.
He says it is necessary to ensure the proper implementation of the “Tariff in Exchange for Investments” program.
The Ministry of National Economy and sectoral government agencies must control unjustified increases in tariffs and prices for utilities, while maintaining a balance between the economic and social components. I instruct to ensure compliance with the minimum contribution to inflation from tariffs and prices for regulated services, established by the Council on Economic Policy, the Prime Minister said at a government meeting.
