MangystauMunayGas General Director Appointed

MangistauMunayGas's new general director was appointed by the board of directors' decision, Orda.kz reports.
According to JSC NC KazMunayGas, every three years, following the provisions of the shareholders’ agreement, the rotation of senior MMG personnel and heads of departments is envisaged.
On December 2, 2024, based on the order of priority, by decision of the board of directors of JSC MangystauMunayGas, Wen Jiajun was appointed General Director of MMG, reported KazMunayGas.
Wen Jiajun is a native of China and graduated from the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
He began his career in 2005 as an engineer in the production and technical department of CNDOC. From 2005 to 2024, he held various positions at CNPC — Ai Dan Munai JSC, and from May to December 2024, he held the position of First Deputy General Director of MMG.
Bolat Seitmaganbetov has been appointed MMG's First Deputy General Director. From February 2022 to December 2024, he headed JSC MMG's JetyBayMunayGas Production Department.
Nurpeis Sarsenbay, the former MMG deputy general director, headed JSC KarazhanBasMunay, a KMG subsidiary.
The JSC's Board of Directors appointed him the general director and chair.
Before his appointment to the new position, he was the deputy general director of JSC Mangistaumunaigas for administrative and social matters.
