The question about the fate of the land, which is still privately owned, was raised during a reporting meeting between Akim Zhenis Kasymbek and residents of the Yesil district, Orda.kz reports.
The discussion concerns a plot of land in front of the Keruen shopping center.
According to Kasymbek, this plot will soon be transferred to the state fund.
The land will be returned to the city in full. The funds invested by the developer will remain in the capital's assets, and not in private hands. The park is already used by city residents, and the city really needs it, said the Akim.
The Akimat has already held a competition.
The developer has partially committed to invest in amenities but has not yet completed the work.
