President Sadyr Japarov participated in a ceremony for the "Osh City" IT complex on February 14, Orda reports, citing Kloop.
The complex, spanning one million square meters, should include 10,000 apartments.
Some of these units will be transferred to the State Mortgage Company, allowing citizens to purchase homes through the mortgage program. The buildings will be equipped with energy-saving systems and high-speed internet, Japarov stated.
The development plans include offices, schools, nurseries, hospitals, gymnasiums, playgrounds, adult recreation zones, and residential areas.
Japarov emphasized the project's economic impact:
The construction process will create thousands of jobs, which will help reduce migration. Upon completion, the IT city will generate employment opportunities in housing services, trade and services, education, healthcare, and the IT industry.
Japarov highlighted that the project aims to foster regional development, create employment opportunities, and attract specialists from various parts of the country to the technology sector.
