A trilateral meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is unlikely to occur in the near future, Orda.kz reports, citing TASS.

The Kremlin spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, made this statement.

On June 3, Peskov stated that while President Putin remains open to high-level talks, such engagements should be the result of prior agreements developed at the technical and expert levels.

"Frankly speaking, it is unlikely in the near future," Peskov said.

He emphasized that any such summit would require thorough preparation and consensus on various technical aspects beforehand.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt had reportedly said earlier that President Trump is open to meeting with both Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenskyy, but would prefer to see direct peace negotiations between Moscow and Kyiv.
