KNB Officer Found Dead in Astana Residential Complex Courtyard

On April 21, the body of a National Security Committee (KNB) employee was discovered in the courtyard of a residential complex in Astana, Orda.kz reports.
According to the KNB press service, a pre-trial investigation has been launched, and authorities are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Preliminary information suggests that the deceased held a senior position within the KNB’s foreign intelligence division. The cause of death is currently unconfirmed, but early reports indicate the possibility of suicide or a fall from a significant height.
