KNB Anti-Corruption Service Detains Regional Tax Official in Aqmola

The KNB's Anti-Corruption Service of the National Security Committee (KNB) has detained the head of a department within the State Revenue Department, Orda.kz reports.
According to the KNB press service, the official was apprehended in Aqmola Region on suspicion of bribery. The operation was carried out by the KNB’s Anti-Corruption Service, and a pre-trial investigation is underway.
Authorities are currently determining pre-trial restrictions. Further details of the case have not been disclosed.
