Today, the President of Kazakhstan is making rounds in the Aqtobe region, where he plans to visit key sites, Orda reports, citing Aqorda.
The first site is the Bolashak mine in Khromtau.

In the fall, Shukhrat Ibragimov, one of Kazakhstan's wealthiest businessmen, officially became the chief executive officer (CEO) of the Eurasian Resources Group (ERG) corporation.
In Khromtau, Toqayev was told that the mine's design capacity is 7.5 million tons of chrome ore annually.
They plan to create 1,800 jobs with significant investments — more than a trillion tenge at this facility. As Ibragimov said, Bolashak is one of ERG's key investment projects.
The company is currently developing two deposits: Millionnoye and Almaz-Zhemchuzhina. And ERG calls the launch of the new mine “historic."
