KazMunayGas Confirms End of MunaySpetsSnab Workers’ Strike in Mangystau

National company KazMunayGas (KMG) has confirmed that the employee protest at MunaySpetsSnab Company LLP in the Mangystau region has ended, Orda.kz reports.
KMG’s press service stated that the situation was fully resolved as of October 29, and operations have now resumed:
The situation at MunaySpetsSnab Company has been resolved, the company’s operations have been fully restored, and employees have returned to work,
the company said.
According to KMG, the workers’ demands were directed at the management of the contractor company. After negotiations, the parties reached an agreement, and staff returned to their duties. The situation at KMG facilities in Zhanaozen is now described as stable.
MunaySpetsSnab Company LLP provides transport services to OzenMunayService. Employees had previously refused to work the night shift, alleging labor rights violations.
The company’s management maintained that wages and social benefits were being paid in full and on time.
