KazAvtoJol: Signs of Antimonopoly Law Violations Discovered

Astana's Agency for the Protection and Development of Competition has discovered signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation by JSC National Company KazAvtoZhol, Orda.kz reports.
The company insisted that JSC KazNIISA include equipment from only one manufacturer in the project to equip all checkpoints with inspection systems. This limited competition and gave advantages to specific suppliers.
A notice was sent to JSC NC KazAvtoJol regarding the inadmissibility of actions that lead to the restriction of competition in the inspection equipment market,the regulatory department commented.
The company has already taken measures to fix the identified violations.
