Kazakhtelecom plans to release 400 new Kazakh-language films and TV series by the end of 2025 on its TV+ platform, which already features over 1,000 titles. The lineup will include Disney films dubbed in Kazakh, available free of charge.
The initiative is part of the company’s strategy to build a Kazakh-language digital ecosystem and promote cultural and linguistic identity.
To mark International Children’s Day, Kazakhtelecom hosted a Kazakh-language screening of Lilo & Stitch in Shymkent for 180 children. Educators emphasized the importance of native-language media in children’s development.

Interest in Kazakh-language content on TV+ is rising: user numbers jumped from 35,000 in January to over 64,000 in April. Popular titles include Baja 2, Kөңілді Shіrkеyler, Mulan: A Legend Is Born, and Tyyym.
