Orda.kz has prepared a small selection of videos of wild animals recently captured on camera in different parts of Kazakhstan.
In the Sairam-Ugam State National Nature Park, camera traps captured footage of a lynx, a porcupine, wolves, and a fox. These recordings highlight the rich biodiversity of Kazakhstan's southern regions. Park employees note that camera traps not only document wildlife but also help ensure their protection.
The Forestry and Wildlife Committee emphasizes that all hunting is strictly prohibited in Sairam-Ugam Park.
State inspectors of the West Altai Nature Reserve filmed a sable during their area patrol. In Kazakhstan, sables inhabit the coniferous forests of Altai. They feed on small insects, rodents, squirrels, hares, pine nuts, and berries.
In Bayanaul State National Nature Park, a forestry inspector recorded a rare nocturnal scene – a lynx hunting a hare along the roadside. According to 2024 data, 42 lynxes currently live in Bayanaul National Park.
