Kazakhstan's President Offers Condolences After Montenegro Shooting
President Toqayev has sent a message of sympathy to Montenegro's President Jakov Milatovic following the tragic shooting in Cetinje that claimed 12 lives.
Qasym-Jomart Toqayev received with deep sorrow the news of the tragic incident in Cetinje, which took the lives of many people, including children. The President expressed his sincere condolences to the people of Montenegro and the families of the victims, Aqorda's press service reports.
The incident occurred on January 1 when a gunman, identified as Aco Martinovic, opened fire in a local restaurant, killing 12 people, including two children aged 10 and 13.
Martinovic was later found during a police search in the Humci area, where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound when he was surrounded.
