Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry Comments On Conflict Involving Kazakhstanis In Russia

There were no serious injuries, and diplomats are monitoring the situation, Orda.kz reports.
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry commented on the incident involving Kazakh citizens that took place on March 26 in the shift settlement of Ust-Luga in Russia’s Leningrad region.
There are no seriously injured Kazakhstanis, and no one required hospitalization. The situation is calm.said the ministry’s official representative, Yerlan Zhetybayev.
According to him, some of those involved in the conflict have been detained, and an investigation is underway.
The foreign ministry added that staff at Kazakhstan’s Consulate General in St. Petersburg are in contact with Russian law enforcement agencies. The consul general traveled to the scene to assess the situation and assist the citizens involved.
