Kazakhstan's Flag Raised in New York City on Republic Day

On Republic Day, the Kazakh flag was raised in the heart of New York City, Orda.kz reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by representatives of the mayor’s office, diplomats, members of the Kazakh diaspora, and students.
At the ceremony, the Mayor of New York City officially proclaimed Kazakhstan Heritage Day and presented a corresponding proclamation.
The act became a sign of respect for Kazakhstan and recognition of the Kazakh community's contribution to the city's cultural and social development. The proclamation reflects New York City's commitment to the principles of mutual respect and international partnership,
the message says.
The document, symbolizing friendship between the two countries, was signed on behalf of Mayor Eric Adams.
