Kazakhstan's Agriculture Minister Comments on Russian Claims About Contaminated Chicken

In January 2025, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists discovered listeria bacteria in a batch of chicken meat from Kazakhstan, Orda reports.
Oversight over products imported from Kazakhstan was strengthened, and suppliers were required to confirm the safety of their goods.
The situation was commented on by the Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
The Minister dismissed the concerns as a technical error, stating that subsequent testing proved the chicken was safe.
