Kazakhstan Welcomes Thailand–Cambodia Peace Declaration Signed at ASEAN Summit

The Kazakh Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed support for the signing of a “Joint Declaration on Relations” aimed at resolving the conflict between the Kingdoms of Thailand and Cambodia, Orda.kz reports.
In an official statement, the ministry said the agreement represents an important step toward strengthening trust and stability in Southeast Asia.
Kazakhstan highly appreciates the efforts of the parties and believes that diplomacy remains the only true path to peace,
the Foreign Ministry said.
The document was signed this past weekend during the 47th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur, with the participation of U.S. President Donald Trump and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
