Direct regular flights will operate twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays, Orda.kz reports, citing the press service of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
On May 5, a new airline from the Republic of Uzbekistan — My Freighter (Centrum Air) — will enter Kazakhstan’s air transport market. Starting June 6, an additional flight per week will be added — on Fridays,
the statement says.
The Ministry noted that opening air service between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan will promote further development of trade, economic, business, investment, tourism, and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Air Astana, Uzbekistan Airways, and FlyArystan also operate regular direct flights from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan.
