Kazakhstan will hold its first Victory Day military parade in six years, President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev announced in an interview with Ana Tili, reports Orda.kz.
The plan for celebrating the Victory anniversary is quite eventful. The central event will be the military parade in Astana. We will honor veterans and home front workers, and none of them will be overlooked, the President said.
The celebrations will also commemorate several national heroes, marking the 115th anniversary of Bauyrzhan Momyshuly, the 110th anniversary of Malik Gabdullin, and the centenary of Aliya Moldagulova.
The last military parade in Kazakhstan was in 2019, with subsequent parades canceled for various reasons.
