The President spoke about the special forces' achievement and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War being commemorated this year.
This is a tribute to all Kazakhstanis who fought at the front and worked in the rear. Our duty is to preserve the feats of our ancestors in the memory of generations. And your efforts are aimed at preserving peaceful life in Kazakhstan, he emphasized.
Highlighting the special services' role in national security, Toqayev added:
Last year, the KNB conducted more than 20 special operations to prevent crimes. The Ministry of Internal Affairs is constantly fighting drugs and other crimes. We have a clear goal - to build a strong and prosperous Kazakhstan.
