Kazakhstan Sets Record for Oil and Gas Condensate Production

Kazakhstan has set a record for oil and gas condensate production, exceeding the OPEC+ quota, Orda.kz reports.
In February 2025, Kazakhstan produced a record 2.12 million barrels of oil and gas condensate per day, Reuters reported.
Output increased 13% from January to a record 2.12 million barrels per day, again exceeding its quota in the OPEC+ group of oil producers, the agency notes.
According to Reuters, crude oil production, excluding gas condensate, increased by 15.5% compared to January, reaching 1.83 million daily barrels.
Meanwhile, the quota for Kazakhstan under the OPEC+ agreement is 1.468 million barrels per day.
