Kazakhstan Sent Almost All Planned Oil for The Year to Germany

From January to September 2024, KazTransOil JSC shipped more than a million tons of oil to Germany. Over the year, 1.2 million tons will be shipped to the refinery in Schwedt, Germany.
According to the Ministry of Energy, 145 thousand tons of oil were sent through the Uzen-Atyrau-Samara oil pipeline and then to the Adamova Zastava point for further delivery to Germany in September. In October, they plan to ship another 133 thousand tons.
Since the beginning of the year, the volume of deliveries has amounted to 1 million 81 thousand tons. Kazakhstani exporters have executed almost the entire plan. In 2023, oil deliveries from Kazakhstan to Germany amounted to only 590 thousand tons.
The Ministry of Energy also reports that 138 thousand tons of oil were shipped to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan route in September (160 thousand tons are scheduled for October). Since the beginning of the year, 1 million 92 thousand tons of oil have been shipped from the Aqtau seaport to Baku.
In May, reports surfaced that Kazakhstan had extended the contract for transporting oil to the German refinery in Schwedt until the end of 2024.
