Kazakhstan's Ministry of Energy has agreed with Tengizchevroil LLP (TCO) for the domestic supply of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), with deliveries set at 240 thousand tons for 2025, reports Orda.kz.
The Ministry characterized the agreement as the outcome of "constructive negotiations" with TCO, emphasizing that these guaranteed supplies will help address the domestic fuel deficit and improve consumer conditions.
The Ministry clarified that the arrangement establishes annual rather than one-time deliveries.
TCO CEO Kevin Lyon affirmed the company's commitment to supporting the Ministry's objectives and contributing to Kazakhstan's petrochemical industry development.
