Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov promised comprehensive support to Adele Energy Group for producing electric vehicle charging stations, reports Orda.kz.
At a government meeting, company representative Ivan Trofimov reported that the Almaty and Astana Akimats are currently determining locations for charging station installations.
Many global investment companies are interested in investing in charging infrastructure projects. Various stimulation measures and encouragement of transition to electric vehicles are important in state policy. The experience of other countries shows outstanding results, said Trofimov.
In turn, Olzhas Bektenov stated the need to establish specific requirements for station usage.
Adele Energy Group is the only company in the country that manufactures such equipment.
Ah, well good, so you're the only ones for now. You'll be monopolists then. If we support our own, there's nothing wrong with that. They'll be monopolists, we'll support them. Work out all the mechanisms, the Prime Minister said.
