Kazakhstan Plans Financial Legislation Reform

Chair of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov announced an upcoming reform of financial legislation at a government meeting, reports Orda.kz.
According to Suleimenov, a comprehensive package of financial legislative reforms is currently being prepared.
It covers banking, payments, the securities market, and other areas. We also plan to introduce regulation of digital financial assets, implement a National Digital Financial Infrastructure, and continue developing the payments market. This will increase the financial sector’s contribution to economic growth and public welfare, while supporting both traditional and emerging sectors,
he said.
The digital tenge will also continue to be introduced into new areas of public finance.
