Kazakhstan: Officials Comment on Objects Resembling Drones

Authorities are investigating all three objects resembling drones discovered in western Kazakhstan, Deputy Defense Minister Shaikh-Khasan Zhazykbayev said on March 25, Orda.kz reports.
The Ministry of Defense is also not outside the scope of this investigation. It is within the scope of our air defense. Based on the results of the investigation, we will provide additional information, if necessary,
Zhazykbayev stated while speaking to reporters at the Majilis.
He noted that military testing grounds are located in the Bokeyorda district of West Kazakhstan.
There is not only the ground, but also the airspace. It could be a technical glitch that caused it to malfunction. Or something else. I think it is wrong to say specifically until the investigation is complete.
Deputy Foreign Minister Akan Rakhmetullin also commented:
As of today, there is no information about where it came from and whose drone it is. Investigative measures are being carried out. As soon as information is received about whose drone it is and who launched it, we will make specific decisions.
Another Deputy Foreign Minister, Alibek Kuantyrov, emphasized that technical analysis is still underway.
There are technical things, where it came from, where it fell, whose production it was. Let the competent authorities, the 'techies', figure it out. Then it will be clear.
The most recent incident occurred on March 25, when an object was discovered in the Janibek district of the West Kazakhstan region.
This marks the third such discovery in the area in recent weeks.
