Kazakhstan Ministry Comments Deportations of Citizens from United States

Kazakhstan's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Aibek Smadiyarov, has revealed that Kazakhstani citizens illegally in the United States face regular deportation, Orda reports.
Logically, these people are there illegally. We cannot give an exact number, but according to our rough estimates, there could be from one hundred to several thousand, Smadiyarov reported.
While approximately 3,600 Kazakhstani citizens are officially registered with the U.S. consulate, the number of undocumented residents remains unclear.
I recommend that our citizens who want to get to the US apply for a visa and travel legally. The US is tightening its immigration policy, and we have warned about this many times. We cannot help Kazakhstanis who are there illegally - they are outside the law, added Aibek Smadiyarov.
