Constitution Day in Kazakhstan could be moved to March 15 — but only if voters approve a new Constitution, Orda.kz reports
Senate Speaker Maulen Ashimbayev said this on the sidelines of the Senate.
«Under the transitional provisions, Constitution Adoption Day would become Constitution Day — the day the Constitution is adopted. The adoption date and the date it enters into force are different. If we look at the draft transitional provision, it refers to the adoption date, and that date is March 15,» he said
