Kazakhstan set a new oil production record in March 2025, Orda.kz reports, citing Reuters and the agency’s own calculations.
According to Reuters, oil and gas condensate production in March reached 8.95 million tons, driven by the test launch of the Future Growth Project at the Tengiz field and steady exports through the CPC pipeline.
The country’s average daily output amounted to 2.17 million barrels.
Under its OPEC commitment, Kazakhstan is limited to producing 1.468 million barrels of oil daily. In February, production exceeded this level at 1.83 million barrels per day.
By March, Reuters sources said the figure had risen further to 1.88 million barrels per day. Reuters writes that Kazakhstan’s oil exports held steady in March, with shipments through the Caspian Pipeline Consortium continuing without disruption despite concerns after drone attacks.
Provisional estimates put CPC exports at 1.7 million barrels per day for both March and April.
