Kazakhstan Halqyna Foundation: President Listens to Report

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev highly praised the fund's work. Over three years, the fund financed 103 projects worth 230 billion tenge, Orda reports.
Bolat Zhamishev, The Kazakhstan Halqyna Foundation Chair, presented a report on the organization's activities and announced the tasks for the near future.
The foundation financed 103 charitable projects for 230 billion tenge; 58 projects have already been completed.
The foundation's work is based on the principles of transparency and accountability. Ernst & Young conducted an external audit last year to confirm this.
Healthcare As a Priority:
- 57.7 billion tenge was allocated to provide medicines to 461 patients, including 342 children with severe conditions.
- More than 1.2 thousand cancer patients received targeted medicines worth 14.5 billion tenge.
- Modern equipment was purchased for 5 oncology centers and 22 pediatric neurosurgical services.
- 10 of 13 early intervention centers to prevent disability in children have been opened.
The foundation has opened 7 centers for children with autism and 6 rehabilitation centers.
Another 20 centers will be opened soon. 150 patients have been provided with innovative prosthetics.
Development of Flagship Schools:
- 135 rural schools in Almaty and Qaraganda regions have been modernized.
- Modern physics, chemistry, and biology classrooms have been equipped in 50 schools in the Almaty region and 86 schools in the Qaraganda region.
- 3,000 students received educational grants from the foundation.
- In the Aqtobe region, the material and technical bases of 134 small schools have been updated, and four models of education using digital technologies have been introduced.
In culture and sports, libraries in the West Kazakhstan region are being transformed into community centers, and 13 modular sports halls are being built.
100 children's sports halls have been equipped in villages.
The fund supported regions affected by floods by financing the construction of 627 houses in five country regions.
