Kazakhstan: Extension Proposed for Six-Month Ban on LPG, Propane, and Butane Exports

A draft order from the Ministry of Energy has been published on the Open NPA portal, Orda.kz reports.
The proposed restrictions are set to take effect on May 14, 2025.
To impose a ban on the export from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of liquefied petroleum gas (EAEU TN VED code 2711 12 970 0), propane (EAEU TN VED code 2711 12 940 0) and butane (EAEU TN VED code 2711 13 970 0) by road and rail for a period of six months,
the draft order states.
The document is open for public discussion on the portal until April 21, 2025.
