Kazakhstan And China Discuss Cooperation In Boao

First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar met with Zhao Leji, chairman of the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress, in Boao, China, Orda.kz reports.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 25th annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan province.
The parties discussed bilateral cooperation, including the development of trade and economic ties, investment, and joint projects in transport and energy.
Roman Sklyar noted the active cooperation between the parliaments of Kazakhstan and China.
The Chinese side, in turn, stressed that it attaches special importance to relations with Kazakhstan and views them as a strategic partnership.
The chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress also expressed support for the reforms being carried out in Kazakhstan at the initiative of the president of Kazakhstan. the statement said.
The parties also agreed to continue working together on international platforms, including the UN, the SCO, CICA, and the Central Asia–China format.
