Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Coordinate Emergency Air Response Efforts

A Kazakh delegation led by Sapargali Tolegenov, head of the Air Defense Forces Command Post, visited Baku for talks with Azerbaijani counterparts, Orda.kz reports.
The key focus of the visit was coordinating joint procedures for handling emergencies in the air, such as during search-and-rescue missions or when rescue operations require urgent air support.
The discussions involved not only military officials but also representatives from civil aviation authorities, AZAL, foreign intelligence services, and diplomats.
There was a comprehensive exchange of views on a wide range of topical issues concerning the organization and conduct of emergency flights for search-and-rescue operations, emergency rescue operations, and other activities,Kazakhstan’s Defense Ministry stated.
As part of the visit, the Kazakh delegation was given a tour of military units, where Azerbaijani forces demonstrated their skills in weapons handling and field training.
