Kazakh-language Schools May Appear in Russian Cities with Kazakh Diasporas

Kazakhstan's Minister of Education, Gani Beisembayev, said the possibility of opening Kazakh-language schools in Russian regions where large Kazakh diasporas live is being considered, Orda.kz reports.
They plan to open schools for compatriots in the Astrakhan region, Orenburg, and Tomsk.
Yes, this topic is being discussed. We are working on this together with our Russian colleagues. The proposal is supported, and the final decision will be made in December,
the Minister said.
