The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan has responded to information circulating in Russian media sources. Some reports claim that components for drones used in recent attacks on Russian territory may have originated from Kazakhstan, Orda.kz reports.
Official Foreign Ministry representative Aibek Smadiyarov stated that there is no verified information to support these claims.
I am not an expert in military affairs, of course. I saw these messages this morning. Of course, anonymous Telegram channels are spreading this. There is no official confirmation of this, so I cannot confirm it. I will leave this in the realm of the theory of our experts. I cannot comment on conspiracy theories and all sorts of mysteries,
Smadiyarov said.
Earlier, several Telegram channels, as well as analytical materials concerning Operation Web, suggested that drone components discovered in a warehouse in the Chelyabinsk region may have been imported from Kazakhstan.
