Kazakh and Russian Presidents Hold Phone Call on Putin’s Birthday

President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev held a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Orda.kz reports, citing Aqorda.
Toqayev congratulated Putin on his 73rd birthday and emphasized his “significant personal contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership, good-neighborly relations, and alliance between Kazakhstan and Russia.”
According to the presidential press service, the two leaders discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation and reviewed the progress of agreements reached during previous high-level meetings.
At the time of the call, President Toqayev was in Gabala, Azerbaijan, participating in the summit of the Organization of Turkic States.
