Kaspi and Home Credit Halt Card Services for Foreigners

Kaspi Bank and Home Credit Bank have temporarily stopped issuing cards to non-residents, Orda reports.
Home Credit Bank's customer service has confirmed they've halted all debit card services for non-residents across their entire product range.
Meanwhile, Kaspi Bank has announced in its app's FAQ section that non-residents won't be able to obtain or renew Kaspi Gold cards from January 19 to February 3. After this period, foreigners can obtain cards for one year at designated branches.
Changes introduced in mid-January that tightened banking regulations for Russians and other non-residents in Kazakhstan.
Under these new rules, payment cards issued to non-residents will generally be limited to a 12-month validity period, though some exceptions apply.
