Karim Massimov's Jewelry and Collectibles Sold at Auction

The Returned Assets Management Company LLP announced the sale of the property of the former head of the National Security Committee, Karim Massimov. The auction was held on August 15, 2025, on the E-Qazyna electronic platform, Orda.kz reports.
43 lots were put up for auction, including souvenir coins, sabres, and other items. The total sales amount exceeded 10 million tenge, with a starting price of about seven million. The final price increased due to the high interest of participants and the competitive nature of the auction.
According to the established rules, within 10 working days after the end of the auction, a purchase and sale agreement is concluded with the winners, and the transfer of assets is carried out only after full payment has been received.
All proceeds will be sent to the Special State Fund, which finances social projects in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and support for socially vulnerable groups.
The company emphasized that the purpose of such auctions is transparency, efficiency, and public benefit in the process of implementing returned assets.
