Journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov Says His YouTube Channel Has Been Removed

Journalist Lukpan Akhmedyarov shared on Facebook that his YouTube channel no longer exists, Orda.kz reports.
On the morning of July 18, Akhmedyarov published a video explaining that YouTube had removed his channel “Prosto Zhurnalistika” (Just Journalism).
According to him, the channel had been targeted by cyberattacks for a week, which were successfully repelled.
And they chose a different path. They took several of our reels where we used free music available on YouTube. They created their own channel, uploaded that same music there, and filed copyright claims. Then they submitted complaints against our three reels that contained the same free music. Based on this, YouTube issued three strikes and deleted our channel ‘Prosto Zhurnalistika,’
Akhmedyarov said.
He noted that the channel that filed the complaints later also disappeared from the platform.
Earlier, on July 7, Akhmedyarov reported that the Instagram account of the “Prosto Zhurnalistika” project had been removed. That account was later restored.
