The Head of Government, Olzhas Bektenov, signed the corresponding decree, Orda.kz reports.
In Jezkazgan, the wear and tear of the 398 km long heating networks is 60%.
The city, with a population of 89 thousand, is supplied with heat from a thermal power plant.
To improve the situation, the regional Akimat adjusted the project for reconstruction and modernization of heating networks. As a result, today 1.5 billion tenge is needed to complete the stage of work on the fifth launch complex. The finances from the government reserve will be transferred to the regional budget, the Cabinet of Ministers said in a statement.
Most of the heating networks in the Ulytau region have been in operation since 1951.
