Italy, Canada, and Slovenia Inspect Kazakhstan’s Training Grounds

Military representatives from Italy, Canada, and Slovenia visited Kazakhstan to assess the country’s compliance with the Vienna Document 2011, a European security agreement focused on confidence-building and transparency, Orda.kz reports citing the Ministry of Defense.
The inspection team reviewed military units in the Aqmola and Qaraganda regions:
The multinational inspection team received briefings from the Ground Forces, the Air Defense Forces, and the Astana Regional Command, which confirmed that the information Kazakhstan had previously submitted as part of the annual military data exchange was accurate,the Ministry of Defense said.
The inspectors also visited the Spassk training ground near Abay in Qaraganda region, where they were briefed on preparations for the upcoming military parade in Astana marking the 80th anniversary of Victory Day.
The inspection team noted Kazakhstan’s full implementation of its obligations under the Vienna Document 2011 and the professionalism of our armed forces,the Ministry emphasized.
