Italian Prime Minister Arrives in Kazakhstan for Official Visit

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit, Orda.kz reports.
At the airport in Astana, she was personally welcomed by President Qasym-Jomart Toqayev.
According to Aqorda, the two sides plan to discuss prospects for a strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Italy.
Meloni’s visit was originally scheduled for April 26–27 but was postponed due to mourning events following the passing of Pope Francis, in which the Prime Minister took part.
