A "large amount" of Russian military equipment disappeared from the Syrian port of Tartus following the departure of the Russian cargo ship Sparta II, according to Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty investigative journalist Mark Krutov.

While the Sparta II departed, another Russian vessel - the Sparta - remained docked at the port.

The ships are owned by Oboronlogistics, a shipping company currently under international sanctions.
